Code of Conduct
A respectful space for Bitcoiners to connect, learn, and build.
Hash House exists to foster honest dialogue, freedom of thought, and open collaboration around Bitcoin. To keep this space welcoming and productive for everyone, we ask all members, guests, and contributors to follow these principles:
1. Respect is Non-Negotiable
Treat everyone with kindness and respect β regardless of their background, beliefs, or level of Bitcoin understanding. That includes newcomers, skeptics, and even shitcoiners. π§‘
You donβt have to agree β but you do have to be civil.
Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Privacy is a Fundamental Right
We take privacy seriously. Assume everyone wants to remain pseudonymous β and respect that.
This is a place where people should feel safe to speak freely, learn, and explore without fear of being exposed.
β Do NOT take photos, videos, or audio recordings without clear, informed consent.
β Do NOT share names, conversations, or identities outside this space unless explicitly agreed upon.
3. Bitcoin-Only Zone
Hash House is strictly Bitcoin-only.
We do not promote or support altcoins, tokens, or crypto speculation. Critical discussion is welcome β marketing is not.
4. No Shilling. No Scams.
This is a space for real conversation and collaboration β not for self-promotion, affiliate links, or projects that violate Bitcoinβs principles of decentralization, privacy, and openness.
5. Create a Culture of Care
Keep the space clean, safe, and accessible. Be mindful of noise levels, treat resources with respect, and help newcomers feel welcome.
6. Freedom with Responsibility
We believe in free expression β but with accountability. Debate ideas, not people. Strong opinions are fine; toxicity is not.
If Something Feels Off
Please report any violations to Hash House staff directly, or reach out privately.
Reports are handled discreetly and with care.
